About Lucy reaching for the pizza box: Have you seen the TV ad for Farmer’s Insurance about the dog who was reaching for a pizza box on the stove, accidentally turned on a gas burner and burned down the house? The ad says, “we know a thing or 2, because we have seen a thing or 2.” Maybe the stove is not the best place for the pizza box, even though it does appear that Lucy’s reach exceeds what she could actually grasp.
