Sometimes I just have to let out a little giggle when I shop in stores. Like the other day when I was waiting for some large patterns to be printed up at The Office Depot and decided to take a walk down the isles. Seriously? There are people out there who pay $32.99 for 6 rolls of packing tape? What am I missing here? Other than maybe the price was more appropriate for an office supply store at the airport or something.
Even the price for a box of 45 envelopes on sale for $5.00 {that are normally priced at $9.99} was pretty out there. Silly me, I thought everyone bought their envelopes at the Dollar Store. Clearly, I was wrong.
Speaking of overpriced items…
I dropped something off at the thrift store last week and noticed they wanted $10.00 for a cracked 8″ terra-cotta planter. Really? How much would you pay? I mean, I know we’ve talked about this before, but C’MON NOW…. Am I wrong in thinking $10 is just NUTS? Even if Martha Stewart signed it herself, I don’t think someone would pay $10 for a cracked pot.
Monkey Boy has discovered Wonder Bread. And he loves it.
Question: You find a nice pair of {running?} gloves on the ground while you’re out walking your dog. Do you pick them up… because Hey, free gloves? Or leave them on the ground because maybe someone threw them on the ground on purpose and will be circling back for them?
Curious minds want to know.
- How much would you pay for a 6 pack of packing tape?
- Envelopes?
- A second hand terra-cotta pot?
- Have you ever tried Wonder Bread?
- The gloves. Do you pick them up, or leave them on the ground?
