Even though I totally went over my budget last week we were able to put a lot of great things in the the pantry. My goal for this week is to not buy anything to help offset last week’s splurges.
Mom’s Pantry – Free
Apparently my mom has found a better brand of tuna because she sent The Girl home with all her Chicken of the sea. We.Are.Not.Picky. 🙂
Costco $15.78
The HH and The Girl LOVE Babybel cheese so we picked those up and some spinach filled raviolis that were on sale at Costco.
Fred Meyer $10.99
Last week at Fred Meyer we picked up a few friday freebies {Ice Tea, beef stew} as well as milk for $1.00 per half gallon. The HH finally ran out of coffee {my mom buys him a boatload every year for Christmas} and so we picked up the store brand {26 ounces} for $4.99 and the HH said it was pretty good.
Albertsons $6.00
Cheese slices were on sale for $1.50 per 8 ounce package.
The Church Lady – Barter
I ran out of butter on saturday so I called up the Church Lady and asked if we could barter a stick of butter for some onions.
Free U Pick Plums!
Odds and ends from the garden. These days were are picking tomatoes and beans pretty much daily and it’s AWESOME.
There are a ton of baby zucchinis in the garden right now so I fully expect to be swimming in zuke’s next week.
