Since we started remodeling the house Miss Lucy the Puggle Dog has had her fair share of days at doggy daycare. And although I know she has a blast when she’s there, I still miss her every single minute she is out of my sight.
That’s why when I know a contractor is just going to be here for a few hours {as opposed to all day} I keep her home, behind closed doors with me working on some random project.
Lately, we’ve been working on painting my new office space.
I keep telling myself it’s going to be totally RAD when it’s done.
But it’s taking me a little longer than I thought to get the place painted. ๐
Ahh puggles, they’re so much trouble.
But so much fun.

She is just too cute!! Are you allowed to fence your yard in any way there?
Mavis Butterfield says
The previous owner had an invisible fence installed but decided to rip out the monitor before the moved. As soon as the workers are gone I think we are going to have them come out and train her.

I’m so glad you adopted her!

I think you need to buy an electric pressure cooker that browns food too. I use mine all the time. I never pay for chicken stock, just put the chicken carcass and bones, even those nibbled off of, into the pot with a carrot and onion, and I have fabulous chicken stock for free. Your rice is done in minutes, and my ribs and soups are fabulous, as are my chicken soups. You can do steel cut oats in about 20 min. I would suggest a 6 or 8 quart, and you can do as small as 1 c rice in it, but can do lots of soup. Also are you having an electrician install double the amount of outlets that your house cam with, especially every 2-3′ in the kitchen and your office. With all our electronics and chargers, everyone needs lots more outlets.

As you know, I just moved to the country. One of my dogs is feasting on any random poop it finds, and the other dog insists upon rolling over and over in strange animal poop. I just bathed him again, and now I smell like poop. Sigh.

I Love Lucy! ๐
Might be a stupid question, but how do you take all of the photos of yourself? Do you have a buddy, a remote, or what?
Mavis Butterfield says
The HH took those. ๐

It takes a while to paint a room. How long does it take to paint a puggle? ๐
Mavis Butterfield says
About 2 seconds. ๐

When I saw the title of this post I thought you had taught Lucy to make art! I was expecting to see you pouring some paint on a big sheet of butcher paper and then her walking around in it to make cute doggy paw-print artworks…
But I guess getting your office walls painted is a lot more useful, ha.

Yes, I’ve been painting with Morkie puppy – it doesn’t sound as cool as painting with a puggle but I think it’s probably just as much fun.
