Looking for something you can make for breakfast in a jiffy? Smoothies are the way to go. Trust me on this. Not only is the kitchen clean up is pretty minimal, but a good smoothie will give you enough energy to power through a busy morning too.
Here is my favorite smoothie recipe on the planet {well, right now anyway!}.
Ingredients
1 cup fresh pineapple
1 ripe banana
1 cup orange juice
1 cup ice
Directions
Toss everything in your blender and give it a whirl! My Blendtec whips this up in about 10 seconds flat. Now that’s my kind of breakfast!

I agree! I had a strawberry blueberry smoothie for breakfast. My teenage daughter drank half of it!

Ha! My daughter often steals mine too. ๐

Mavis,
Help! I can’t find the peanut butter banana bread recipe that you had posted in the past year.
Mavis says

this sounds good to turn into a homemade Orange Julius – you know the secret to getting that Julius taste? Baking soda! to this recipe I would add a cup of milk, maybe a little sugar (or use 1/2 cup OJ concentrate with just 1/2 cup water mixed in to make it stronger/sweeter flavor), and then 1/2 tsp of baking soda thrown in – gives it that frothy foamy taste Orange Julius is famous for – not exactly your healthiest morning smoothie but delicious! ๐
