Need to keep little hands busy during holiday break? These reindeer ornaments are made out of wine corks {which if you live in suburbia, a quick knock on a handful of doors will yield you enough corks to decorate an entire tree} are easy to make and look cute on the tree or as an embellishment to your Christmas present wrapping. Last year, I used them to hang around the neck of a bottle of wine or sparkling cider {depending on who I was giving them to} for some friends and neighbors.
You’ll need:
- Wine cork
- Twine, ribbon, yarn {anything that you can use to hang the ornaments}
- Googly eyes
- Tiny red pom-pom
- Brown pipe cleaner
- Glue gun
Directions:
Glue gun on a looped piece of ribbon/twine/etc. to the top of the cork. Then, wrap the pipe cleaner around the cork and twist it to secure. It should cover the base of the looped ribbon. Bend the excess pipe cleaner to form antlers. Glue on the googly eyes {see picture for placement} and pom-pom nose on the end of the cork.
Craft over. Now go back to binge watching holiday movies.
