The beauty of being a blogger is that I have a platform to share whatever noteworthy topic that pops into my head. Sometimes, the crazy stories I come across on the inter-web or the random thoughts that pop into my mind aren’t really noteworthy at all {on their own}. They usually make me pause, laugh, or just plain roll my eyes and I go on about my day.
So, without further ado, here’s this weeks edition of Random Goodness from Around the Web:
I Want ZERO Surprises in My Banana
Sometime when I see articles online I think I’m being punked. That was the case when I read about this Banana Surprise Yumstation kitchen gadget. But it’s real and it sounds like something straight out of a horror movie. It might be delicious. It might be awesome. But the instructions alone are enough to make me hide all the bananas and run in the opposite direction!
Psychic Baseball Fan Should Start Playing the Lottery
Are those psychic hotlines still at thing? Cause if they are, this Cub’s fan has found a great money-making opportunity. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably heard that the Cubs won their first World Series title in 108 years. Pretty awesome all on its own. But one guy predicted it way back in 1993. It’s even in writing as his quote in his high school yearbook. Pretty spot on and so amazing! “I think this is really a very extreme coincidence,” Michael Lee said. “Does it blow my mind? A little.” It sure blows mine!
The Only Person Allowed to Steal the Bride’s Thunder
Move over flower girl, there’s a new flower person option to drop those petals down the aisle on the bride’s big day: grandpa! A bride asked her 85-year-old grandpa if he’d be okay with tossing petals in lieu of a flower girl. He agreed, and stole the show. The video of it warms my heart!
As If the Original Food Wasn’t Bad Enough
They went and dipped them in chocolate. Gag. But on the plus side, they are sugar-free. Makes them super healthy. Not!
And that concludes this installment of Random Goodness from Around the Web. Please make sure to leave your random responses in the comment section.
