The beauty of being a blogger is that I have a platform to share whatever noteworthy topic that pops into my head. Sometimes, the crazy stories I come across on the inter-web or the random thoughts that pop into my mind aren’t really noteworthy at all {on their own}. They usually make me pause, laugh, or just plain roll my eyes and I go on about my day.
So, without further ado, here’s this weeks edition of Random Goodness from Around the Web:
Do you talk to yourself? For years people have labeled self-talkers as nutcases, crazies, and thought them to have a few screws loose. It’s actually just the opposite that’s true! Studies now show that talking to yourself can make you learn more quickly, think more efficiently, and boost long term memory. Click on the article above and check out the 5 reasons that’s so. I was pretty fascinated. Also, for the record, apparently I’m a genius. So there’s that.
This is Not a Drill: Ramen Ice Cream is a Thing
I can’t even. I’m sure this is delicious, but it looks like a slimy pile of noodle worms or something equally as creepy. The weird looking dessert gets its name from the fact that its presentation is similar to the Japanese Ramen noodles we all know and love. I don’t think I could bring myself to eat it. But tons of people are slurping it up. If you happen to find yourself in New York, you can stop by The Dessert Kitchen and try it in a variety of flavors including green tea, peach, honey, and brown sugar.
This Mom is Cooler Than Your Mom
Okay not only does this lady have some seriously rockin’ dance moves, but I absolutely love how she just dances with such wild abandon. I could never do that. But I think because she doesn’t seem to care at all what people think of her, she is just so dang happy! Well, at least she made me happy, and from the looks on those around her, she made a bunch of other people happy as well! Dance on, lady!
Nope. Just nope.
And that concludes this installment of Random Goodness from Around the Web. Please make sure to leave your random responses in the comment section.

OH MY GOODNESS!! Pickle flavored candy canes…what will they think of next?
We were at a diner last week, being cool outside I thought I would get soup…they have the standing flavor of Loaded Baked Potato and “ask server for the daily variety”
….so, I asked, yep, it was Dill Pickle Soup. I didn’t even want to know any more! Yuck!
Lindsey says
I make dill pickle soup all the time at home. We love it. Cheap, nice tangy flavor, fast and easy to make. If you like sauerkraut, you may like dill pickle soup.
Stacy says
OK, my first question is… is this soup served hot or cold? How do you even begin to make pickle soup?

If the candy canes tasted like sour candy worms/bears, I eat ’em. I like anything sour!

As a New Yorker I can advise everyone NOT to try these ramen noodles. I tried it for you, haha. Awful.
