The beauty of being a blogger is that I have a platform to share whatever noteworthy topic that pops into my head. Sometimes, the crazy stories I come across on the inter-web or the random thoughts that pop into my mind aren’t really noteworthy at all {on their own}. They usually make me pause, laugh, or just plain roll my eyes and I go on about my day.
So, without further ado, here’s this weeks edition of Random Goodness from Around the Web:
Oh my gosh. I can’t stop looking at this adorable little goat. Polly is a baby rescue goat with serious medical issues. She’s blind, has neurological problems that affect her eating ability and is severely underweight for her age. She also suffers from anxiety. If she can’t find her owner or something frightens her, she’ll run around the house crying. Until she puts the duck costume on. Then, instant calm. The duck suit seemed to have the same calming effect as being swaddled in a blanket. And I think it is the cutest coping method I’ve ever seen.
Meet WOOLN, the fashion company that hires grandmas to do its knitting. The company relies entirely on the skill of nine senior citizens, all retirees who are also skilled knitters. And the hats they make? So awesome! Seriously. It’s a nifty idea… but at $175 for a hat? Um no.
I Want These Musical Chickens in My Life!
I’m not sure why I never thought to utilize the talents of my chickens back when I had them {I miss them so much! Sniff, sniff!}. They could have had a full-on chicken band. I suspect we’ll see an album released sometime soon…
If You’re Still Looking for the Perfect Christmas Gift….
Perhaps you should pick up this Bathe and Brew. Coffee brewing while you shower? Okay, okay so it’s not an actual gift, but it is the perfect gag gift. You actually only get the empty box, but that gift box appears to contain ridiculous products from clueless companies. Just pack your actual gift inside, sit back and watch the hilarity ensue.
And that concludes this installment of Random Goodness from Around the Web. Please make sure to leave your random responses in the comment section.

OMG! You made me miss my goats so much! I raised dairy goats and nothing is cuter than a baby goat hopping around! I always said you couldn’t be depressed if you spent much time with them as they would have you laughing in no time! Miss them!!!!! The chickens made me think of things I could do to entertain mine. Can’t wait to try things!

Ha ha! I actually unwrapped that very box at my work’s White Elephant gift exchange. Seemed like the perfect gift for such an occasion. Then someone said open the box, is that really what’s inside?
