The beauty of being a blogger is that I have a platform to share whatever noteworthy topic that pops into my head. Sometimes, the crazy stories I come across on the inter-web or the random thoughts that pop into my mind aren’t really noteworthy at all {on their own}. They usually make me pause, laugh, or just plain roll my eyes and I go on about my day.
So, without further ado, here’s this weeks edition of Random Goodness from Around the Web
Voter turnout isn’t always great in many countries, but I bet if we all had the setup that this Dutch family does, that would all change. They have a voting booth in their living room! “In an arrangement that goes back to 1948, the Westhoffs’ farm house has hosted voters in their small community of fewer than 100 people. The town is nestled between a river and a dike — a geography that can make it hard to visit nearby polling stations.” One of my favorite things is that this sweet couples sets out tea and snacks for their voting guests! Too cute!
Gives New Meaning to Showing Some Skin
So. These are for sale. That means a few things. First, someone had to design them and believe that they were awesome, and not in an ironic way. Then someone had to approve that design. Then a buyer had to buy it and a store had to stock it. How on earth did these pants get through all those steps. Or even one of them. My friend’s child said, “Oh, ‘mom jeans.’ So like when kids wear them the moms can look and see if they are bleeding when they scrape their knees so they know if they need a band-aid right away.”
Well there we have it. These pants were designed by a young child with a young child in mind. That’s the only thing that makes sense. Only they somehow ended up being marketed towards adults for adults. I have so many things to say, and yet so few words.
You Will Hate Me Forever After Watching This
Nails on a chalkboard ain’t got nothin on this. I’m sorry.
If you’re a chicken owner , you need this apron to make the task of gathering large quantities of eggs a little easier. Not a chicken owner? “This apron could be used to hold all sorts of crafts, tools — and according to my eight-year-old, to hold his LEGOs while he builds as well,” said inventor, Ashlea Konecny. If I still had chickens, I’d be all over this!!

Since I knew the video was in jest it didn’t bother me. Had I seen this and they weren’t making fun then it would drive me nuts.

I stopped the video at the tomato. Geez Mavis.
But the voting booth is cool – especially because you would also get a little dog to love up!
