The beauty of being a blogger is that I have a platform to share whatever noteworthy topic that pops into my head. Sometimes, the crazy stories I come across on the inter-web or the random thoughts that pop into my mind aren’t really noteworthy at all {on their own}. They usually make me pause, laugh, or just plain roll my eyes and I go on about my day.
So, without further ado, here’s this weeks edition of Random Goodness from Around the Web
Just when I thought I had seen the weirdest the internet had to offer, I stumble onto this. That’s a human. A real, live human. An artist paints faces onto the backs of her friends and family members and then turns them into these weird, creepy, awesome creatures. Nuns, philosophers, and even Cruella Devil. She dresses them and poses them and I am fascinated. They look so odd and so cool. Also, she clearly has some bendy friends!
She said she creates, “wonderful creatures from another world, the kind that children create when they’re alone.” Not sure children would have the foresight to create anything like this, but they sure do like to draw on themselves, so there’s some truth to it!
Doesn’t Solve Cover Stealing, But It’s a Start
This whole story made me laugh. There was this couple that fought over bed space, so this guy goes out and buys a laser. He measured the middle of the bed and then, each night, turns the laser on so they can see exactly whose side of the bed they are invading. Takes that tape down the middle of a squabbling sister’s room to a whole new level.
And I’m sure if someone was a bed hog before, this wouldn’t stop them. They would just now have a crazy laser pointed in their eye when doing it. The whole idea is a bit out there, I’m just curious if it ended up working out for them. Now if they could only invent a solution to cover hogs, I’d buy one in a heartbeat!
Just Try to Watch This Only Once
Even if you hate Alicia Keys’ music or dancing or funny things in general, watch this video. Well only the first minute. I promise it will make your day. I watched it two times in a row. And I want this guy to teach me all of his dance moves, because he’s a pretty epic dancer if I do say so myself.
Okay so a friend of mine posted this cool plate on Facebook the other day and I thought it was adorable. While I’m not in that “picky eaters” phase anymore, this fun little race plate would have been so helpful back in the day to help with stubborn eaters. If they eat everything in all of the race squares, they get the little prize at the finish line {whatever you want to put in there for a prize}. Pretty cute idea, huh?! The plate is made by Fred and Friends and they also carry funny face plates and airplane forks and other equally fun dinner ware.
And that concludes this installment of Random Goodness from Around the Web. Please make sure to leave your random responses in the comment section.

Oh my Goodness. That video is hilarious! I LOVE the way his friend (with hole in his pants) is nodding to the tune while the other dude is dancing. So THAT’s what they do in Alaska! Who knew?

The friend cracked me up too! Love it!

Possible solution to cover hogs….I was a Nanny for a young professional couple…and she didn’t want to tell her new hubby that he stole her covers every night….so she had me make the bed with an extra blanket, folded in half just on her side, then the regular blankets on top of that. Since it didn’t go on his side he was unaware of it even being there and when he stole the covers she still had a blanket on her ….actually 2, since I folded it in half. Try it and see if it works for you.

My husband and I have separate sheets and blankets. He likes to be wrapped up like a burrito in 3 or 4 blankets, I just have a light blanket on me. Only drawback is having to find sheets not in a set, as we need a king fitted, two twin flats, and king pillowcases.

My husband and I don’t share blankets either and we don’t use flat sheets because we think they are pointless.
