The beauty of being a blogger is that I have a platform to share whatever noteworthy topic that pops into my head. Sometimes, the crazy stories I come across on the inter-web or the random thoughts that pop into my mind aren’t really noteworthy at all {on their own}. They usually make me pause, laugh, or just plain roll my eyes and I go on about my day.
So, without further ado, here’s this weeks edition of Random Goodness from Around the Web:
Want Fries With That Name Change
I’m sure you’ve all heard people say, “You are what you eat.” But this guy took it one step further when he changed his name to Bacon Double Cheeseburger. Like official, on the books name change.
What I love most about this absurd story is he chose to “go big or go home” and go with Bacon DOUBLE Cheeseburger instead of just plain ol’ Bacon Cheeseburger. Apparently he has zero regrets and signs his work emails, BD Cheeseburger now. He also has a fiance who is none too pleased. Anyone wanna take a bet on whether or not she keeps her own last name!
Easter May Be Over, But You Don’t Want To Miss This CumberBunny
You’ve gotta wonder what on earth motivates people to do what they do. How did this woman come to decide that Benedict Cumberbatch needed to have his face on a chocolate Easter bunny? Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s pretty rad and I kinda want to buy one just so I can say I had a bite of a CumberBunny. I just really wish I could crawl into someone’s head and pinpoint where ideas like this come from. I certainly appreciate them because they bring me smiles and some good entertainment factor. And I’d guess she’s probably making some decent cash since she sells them for $70 a piece. Yep. That bunny will set you back a whoppin’ $70!!
World’s Most Patient Dog and World’s Most Adorable Puddle Jumper
This is the cutest video I’ve seen in ages. I love how the dog just hangs out and patiently waits for this little cutie to get his puddle fill! Are you loving this video as much as I am?
I am struggling to contain my excitement over canning season being just around the corner! I was just mentioning these handy little Ball Dissolvable Labels to a friend. They are waaay more effective than a Sharpie on the lid method. Plus, they dissolve in water when I wash the jars so I can easily reuse them! And they are pretty inexpensive.
And that concludes this installment of Random Goodness from Around the Web. Please make sure to leave your random responses in the comment section.
