Monkey Boy LOVES his chili. In fact I think he’d love it if chili was the only thing on the menu. Luckily, our whole family enjoys it as well, and so when the weather turns, I like to make it every week or so. This is a super simple chili recipe that is so awesome with leftover turkey. But you can really throw in whatever protein you’d like. Sometimes I’ll go crazy and toss in a can of black beans instead of 2 chili beans. I like to live on the wild side sometimes. Anyway I’ve made it, it hits the spot!
Ingredients
1 pound leftover turkey {could sub cooked ground turkey or beef}
2 green onions, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 1/2 cups corn kernels {frozen or fresh}
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 {28 oz} can crushed tomatoes
2 cans of chili beans {I prefer S&W chili beans}
1 {8 oz} can tomato sauce
1 packet chili seasoning mix
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Stir togther all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Top with cheese, sour cream, green onions or crumbled bacon. Serve with cornbread. Enjoy!

Hi Mavis. Not about chili, but tea. I wanted to recommend Typhoo decaf to you, if you haven’t tried it. I think you mentioned you switched to mostly decaf now and the Typhoo is a great full bodied decaf.
