I’m not sure why we don’t have BBQ season year-round. Wait. I am sure. We’d probably all gain a ton of weight. It’s not that the core BBQ food is bad {grilled chicken, anyone?}, it’s just that there are so many sides to choose from. So we typically don’t choose. We eat a little of everything.
I’d like to say this post is about how to avoid doing that, but really, it’s just the opposite. It’s a compilation of some of the best summer salad recipes. So you can make them and bring them to your next BBQ. I know, I know. I’m contributing to the problem. But once you try some of these salads, you’ll understand why. Mmmm mmmm.
