These bacon wrapped jalapenos are just about the easiest appetizer on the planet to make. There are only 3 ingredients, and once you start popping these babies, good luck stopping.
Ingredients
12 jalapenos, halved and seeded
8 oz cream cheese, softened
12 slices bacon, sliced and cut in half
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cut the jalapenos in half, length-wise and remove the seeds and membrane. Stuff the inside of the halved jalapeno pepper with cream cheese and wrap with 1/2 a slice of bacon. Secure the bacon and jalapeno with a toothpick.
Bake in a grill pan {or a pan with a rack} for 20-25 minutes until the bacon is cooked but not too crispy.
Serve immediately!

I love These! There is a resturant I go to in Orlando called 4 Rivers BBQ, that cooks them in a smoker, and the are addictive

Mix some herbs/green onions/chives (or your choice) in with the cream cheese and coat them with BBQ sauce before and again halfway through cooking/grilling and they are even better.

We will sometimes mix italian sausage into the cream cheese then wrap with bacon. This is a great alternative to poppers for diabetics.

You are so right. There is no stopping after one. This has become our weekly Sunday snack while watching a movie. I buy a HUGE bag of peppers while shopping on Saturday and prepare ahead of time and just pop in the oven when we are ready for our treat on Sunday.
Oh….and sometimes if I am short on time, I forgo the wrapping of bacon and mix in some bacon crumbles you can buy at Costco into the cream cheese. Just as good!
And sometimes for an extra special treat….I sprinkle a generous amount of brown sugar over the whole pan of bacon wrapped peppers before putting into the oven to bake. It makes the most amazing glaze!! So good!

I was also going to mention the bacon crumbles trick. So much easier than waiting for the bacon to crisp up! Mmmmmm…
