If you’re looking for easy appetizer recipes for your holiday party guests, put these bad boys on your list. Now. They got rave reviews from everyone and judging by the empty serving dish, they were a total hit. Also, simple to make. My kind of recipe.
Ingredients
1/2 cup bottled hoisin sauce
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
24 ounces fresh mushrooms
Directions
Mix together hoisin sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, and crushed red pepper in a slow cooker. Add mushrooms and toss to coat. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or cook on high for 2-3 hours. Serve with toothpicks.
