One Hundred Dollars a Month

I am your typical housewife living in high maintenance suburbia. I have a handsome husband, 2 kids and a flock of pet chickens. I try and feed my family with $100 a month. With the help of coupons, gardening and bartering I am able to squeeze the most out of our grocery budget and still manage to have a little fun along the way.

Hello Friday! I am SO GLAD you are here. 🙂 On the agenda for this weekend: Finish up a rug hooking project, work on my sampler, {hopefully} finish the two desks I’ve been stripping in the garage, download the NBC App on the TV so we can watch the Superbowl for free, REST and get some meal prep in today so I don’t have to cook for the rest of the weekend.

A big high five to everyone who left a comment for Jennifer yesterday. THANK YOU! In case you didn’t see it, she checked in last night and shared a little more of her story {somewhere around comment 100 or so} if you want to hop over and check it out.

Also, Lucy went to the vet yesterday for her nail trim and was only charged the level 1 rate {$15.50} instead of the usual level 3 rate {$20}. Maybe this is a sign she is calming down and is only needing 1 person to do her nails instead of the usual 3. One can hope, right?
