I am your typical housewife living in high maintenance suburbia. I have a handsome husband, 2 kids and a flock of pet chickens. I try and feed my family with $100 a month. With the help of coupons, gardening and bartering I am able to squeeze the most out of our grocery budget and still manage to have a little fun along the way.

Hello November. WOW! I can’t believe it’s here. Is it just me or has this year just FLOWN BY? And really, nothing too exciting has happened. Some years are like that I guess. Well, I guess this can only mean one thing… It’s time to get cracking and start researching recipes for Thanksgiving. This year I want to try some new side dishes. Do you have any that you can recommend? If you’ve got something you serve every year that’s crazy delicious I’d love to know about it. 😉
