I just discovered how to get FREE plastic spoons at my local QFC store…
Wanna know how???
When you use the self check out lane they have all kinds of plastic spoons/forks & knives in a cup…for people to take home…imagine that?
Target $1.18
Can you believe it???
Christmas Goods were marked down to 90% off… including pj’s…
I can’t wait to send them to my little nephew next Christmas…
And YES… I’m one of those Aunts… I only send pj’s and books to little kids… because we all know they don’t need any more plastic crap.
Oh and better yet…
I was able to use one of the $5 gift cards The Handsome Husband won
@ The Christmas Party…
The natives were getting restless…
Translation: The Handsome Husband & Monkey Boy were rooting around like little pigs in search of junk food… So I placed an order with Amazon.com for some Pirates Booty and Kind Bars… luckily I was able to use a few of my FREE Amazon.com gift cards that I earned via Swagbucks so it didn’t cost me a thing!
Target (75% off Christmas Clearance) .90 cents
Albertsons (double coupons) $4.69
I found coupons for 1 FREE package of cookies, 1 FREE bottle of Sierra Mist, 2 FREE Breath Right Strips and 3 $1.00 off coupons for Vitamin Water. Wanna know where I found the coupons??? I spotted them in 2 different parked shopping carts! Wooo Hooo… one mans trash… is treasure for Mavis…
Fred Meyer $4.11
Real Food Costs Money
Rite Aid I paid $3.63 out of pocket…
BUT I got back $8.00 back in Up Rewards & Rebates plus my purchase went towards a promotion they’re running (Spend $100 on certain items (before coupons) and get a $20 gift card). PLUS… I opened up the Huggies diaper box and removed the two Huggies codes and played the instant win game on their website and won a $10 gift card to Subway!
Here’s what I picked up for the food bank this week for .50 cents .
Okay…
So after all was said and done…
I spent $18.82 out of pocket this week!
