I’m going to have to sit down this week and figure out my budget and “must have” grocery items and try to make it all happen. Now more throwing money out the window frivolously for this girl…
I paid $20.98 oop (out of pocket) for the above items… And in return I received $14.00 in Rite Aid Up Rewards and a $6.99 SCR (rebate)…. So to make the math real simple for myself I’m going to say…I spent $13.99 at Rite Aid…
And now I have $14 in Rite Aid Up Rewards to spend plus 2 FREE Gallons of milk coupons to use up this week…
Okay… Here’s what else I bought this week…
Walmart $7.42
I came across more of those money making Similac coupons… which netted me some pretty sweet overage which I then applied to the above items one container of baby formula at a time. Plus I was able to pick up a board game for the Toy’s For Tot’s Toy drive this winter for only .84 cents along with a “Try Me Free” box of Kellogg’s cereal and 4 free toothbrushes using the $2.00 Oral B coupon from the 4/3 PG insert.
Safeway $7.01
I was able to pick up 5 bags of salad st Safeway for only .50 cents a bag with coupons, FREE beef Jerky from an online game on April Fools Day but I also paid FULL PRICE for 5 apples and a bag of caramel’s… The Girl Who Thinks She’s A Bird got her braces taken off and wanted carameled apples for dessert… How could I say no to that?
Albertsons $8.79
Double Coupons vs Mavis = Awesomeness
+ a Catalina for 1 FREE case of Water
Rite Aid .79 cents
My total before coupons was $15.79
I used 2 $2 Up Rewards
$3 off $15 purchase survey coupon
8 $1 Mars Candy Coupons
Plus I will get back $4.05 (after rebate & stamp) for the Kellogg’s “Try Me Free” cereal
+I still have a $10 Up Reward from Last week and I received a $3 off $15 purchase survey coupon at the bottom of my receipt.

Total out of pocket this week $33.16
Total spent year to date $371.47
