Last weekend I flew to Boise. If you would told me 1 year ago I’d be flying to Boise, Idaho on a regular basis…I would of asked you if you were on crack.
Boise. Who new? It’s like the coupon capital of the world.
Okay, here we go. Are you ready? I made 1 small purchase last week. LOL. I picked up 1 cantaloupe and 2 packages of ham steaks (I used 2 $2 off meat (manufacture) coupons from the Hamburger Helper deal at Albertsons) and paid only $5.35. That’s it. That’s all I bought!
When I arrived home there was a box from Amazon sitting on the counter. I totally forgot I had ordered Kashi fruit bars and cookies before I left with my Amazon gift cards I scored with Swagbucks! Woot! I don’t know about you, but I LOVE free food!
Speaking of free food, I also gathered a few tomatoes, beets, zucchini & eggs from the backyard garden yesterday. That’s it. That’s all I have to show you. I wish I had more.
Total spent this week: $5.35
Total spent year to date:$1,040.90
How did you do with YOUR grocery budget this week? Did you buy anything exciting? A box of Cheese Nips perhaps?
