Week # 40 On One Hundred Dollars A Month

Here’s what I purchased this week:

Last week I paid a whopping  $3.40 for 5 boxes of Granola Thins and earned a $3 catalina coupon.  To be quite honest, nobody around here even likes these things anymore.  At first… yes.  But now, nobody will touch them.  So why did I buy them?  Because after you factor in the $3 catalia, they were like $.08 a box.  Eight cents a box!  Who can say no to that?

Next, I used my $5.00 off coupon (I earned last week from my preferred savings card bonus points) and my $3.00 off catalina from above and rolled my coupon & catalina and picked up 8 lbs of sugar, 2 free bottles of Dr. Pepper, 1 bottle of vegetable oil and 1 grape for $.02!

At Albertsons I used 2 $2.00 off coupons (NLA) and paid only $1.00 for 2 Digiorno pizzas.

The UPS man delivered 12 bottles of Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner to me for free because I used one of my Amazon.com gift cards I earned with my Swagbucks.

The Girl Who Thinks She’s A Bird freaked out when I brought home 15lbs. of bacon. @ $2.97 a lb who could resist? $44.55

 $5.22 for 3 packages of Turkey on clearance.

Ground turkey $1.99.

I also picked up 2 boxes of my favorite tea in the whole wide world: Tazo Awake Tea only $1.58 at Target. 🙂

I need to lock myself in the house until New Years Day if this is going to work.  I have $60 cash, a $100 Albertsons gift card on the way and plenty of neighbors to barter with.  I don’t know about this. Only 81 days to go.
