I don’t know about you, but our schedules are packed this week and guess what? I actually sat down and made a meal plan. Will I stick to it? Who knows, but I’m sure going to try.
Here are a few ideas to add to your your menu plan for this week {or next}.
- Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies with Apricots and Walnuts – Anything with oatmeal and eggs counts as breakfast, right? {Pin it for Later}

- Pumpkin Muffins with Oatmeal Streusel Topping – A Great way to use up canned pumpkin. {Pin it for Later}
- Chocolate Crepes with Bananas – Chocolate crepes? Heck ya they are delicious. {Pin it for Later}
Slow Cooker, Freezer Meal and Main Dish Ideas
- Chicken Tagine– The meat practically falls off the bone! {Pin it for Later}
- Corn Chowder with Bacon and Chives – I plan on making this tomorrow. {Pin it for Later}
- Chicken with Rice Pilaf Freezer Meal. – This is a great one to bring to a potluck. {Pin it for Later}
- Beef Pot Pie – Meat and potatoes baby. It doesn’t get any better than that. {Pin it for Later}
Soups, Salads, Sides and Bread
- Cheesy Pull Apart Bread – I think I could eat an entire loaf myself. {Pin it for Later}

- Vegan Friendly Quinoa Pilaf w/Pistachios Apricots and Mint – This lasts several days in the fridge and is great for packing in lunches. {Pin it for later}

Hi Mavis, do you have tips on how to dry/store ginger? i didn’t realize that ginger roots yield sooo much, and i already gave some to my office mate but i would like to store most of if since we use ginger in a lot of our recipes. i’m from Phlippines by the way. 🙂
