Even though I don’t make a weekly menu plan, I still love the idea of having a bunch of recipes right in front of me to choose from. Here are a few recipes from my recipe collection I thought you might like:
Breakfast Ideas
Blueberry Scones – I don’t know about you, but in the summer, I like to have breakfast options the kids can grab whenever they’re ready. These are a yummy option. {Pin for Later}
Bacon Pancakes – Everything is just better with bacon. {Pin for Later}
Best Ever Oatmeal Waffles – A healthier version of a classic. Your kids won’t even know they’re healthier. {Pin for Later}
DIY Smoothie Bags – Whip some of these up for those summer mornings when you don’t feel like cooking one more thing. {Pin for Later}
Slow Cooker and Freezer Meal Ideas
Freezer Meal – Cilantro Lime Chicken – With plenty of cilantro in the garden now, this is the time to whip up some freezer meals and put it to good use. {Pin for Later}
Ground Beef in the Crock Pot – This is perfect for summer. Cook it up now, in bulk, so that you won’t be standing over a hot stove everytime your family wants tacos {which for us is about once a week} {Pin for Later}
Sausage Lentil Soup – This is a hearty protein packed soup that is a great alternative to canned soup. {Pin for Later}
Ham and Cheese Casserole – We have this for breakfast a lot, but honestly, it would make a yummy dinner too. {Pin for Later}
Soups , Salads and Main Dish Ideas
Cast Iron Skillet Chicken Pot Pie – Who says comfort food is just for cold weather? Believe me, this will taste awesome any time of year. {Pin for Later}
Roasted chicken Salad w/ Cranberries – For a little lighter fair, try this salad. It makes an awesome lunch too. {Pin for Later}
Ritz Cracker Chicken – These taste sooooo much better than frozen chicken nuggets from the store. {Pin for Later}
Black Bean Quinoa Salad – This is the perfect side dish to impress pretty much anyone. Bring to it BBQ’s, luncheons, or just keep it all to yourself and take a fork full everytime you pass the fridge. {Pin for Later}
Cookies, Snacks and Desserts
Baked Pineapple – I usually serve this with our Easter ham, but it would be a shame to only have it once a year. It makes a super tasty after dinner treat too. {Pin for Later}
Meyer Lemon Cardamom Crinkle Cookies – These are awesome. Enough said. {Pin for Later}
No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies – These won’t heat your kitchen up in the summer heat, but they are still so tasty. {Pin for Later}
Baked Mozzarella Sticks – These are a great way to put a new twist on cheese sticks. They make a great afternoon snack for the kiddos too. {Pin for Later}
Canning Recipe of the Week
Low Sugar Strawberry Jam – Don’t let the low sugar part fool you, this is just as good as the sugar laden stuff, only better for you. {Pin for Later}
What are YOU planning on making this week?
