There is a bit of a shift in this country when it comes to how we eat. I’ve seen organic and clean eating trends take off. People have the desire to put healthy, chemical-free foods on their dinner table, but are often unable to because of sky-high prices at the grocery store. Want to know an AWESOME alternative that’s clearly right up my alley: grow your own!! And the fine folks at BrighterBlooms.com are giving away TWO $100 gift certificates so you can start to do just that!
Brighter Blooms Nursery is one of the nation’s leading online gardening suppliers, specializing in unique quality plants. They only carry healthy, well-established plants that are ready to take off and bloom in your landscape immediately. And as a bonus, they carry some delicious looking fruit trees!
I mean how fun would it be to grow one of these bad boys {you know I’m a sucker for a good Meyer lemon tree!}. Citrus trees are one of their specialties! And get this, unlike many nurseries, they only ship plants that come with root system and soil intact, not bare root. So you won’t have to wait years for bare root plants to repair the damage and shock caused. You just have to plant and watch your fruit grow. Before you know it {even during the 1st season!}, you’ll have fresh fruit picked right outside your back door {or inside your own house, since they have indoor fruit trees, too!}.
Not looking to grow any fruit? They have over 40 acres of plants, ready to be shipped! From knockout roses, to fragrant gardenias, to perennials and privacy hedges, there’s something for everyone!
So how do you get your hands on one of those $100 gift certificates up for grabs?

Peach tree and heritage raspberry bushes. We haven’t yet planted a tree to commemorate our third child. 69 days in the NICU and now being home on oxygen with lots of specialist appointments each week makes us quite busy. Evan is a huge blessing though and our daughter has a glowering pear and our son has two apple trees. I think a peach tree would work well for him. Fingers crossed!
