Being that I’m from the Seattle area, suddenly this Super Bowl matters {let’s not ever repeat that to the HH}. For the first time ever, I’m actually just as excited for the game as I am for the food.
But of course, Super Bowl Sunday is not complete without some awesome appetizers. I’ve included all my favorites in one spot so you can save time searching for them, and use that time to deck yourself out in green and blue {those are the colors you’re wearing, right?!}.
Homemade Guacamole
Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos
Roasted Heirloom Tomato Salsa
Chex Party Mix
Black Bean and Corn Quesadilla
Smashed Potatoes
Garlic Spinach Dip
White Bean Dip with Sun Dried Tomatoes
Black Bean Salsa with Corn and Avocados
Baked Not Fried Pork Egg Rolls
Baked Sweet Potato Fries

As I live in Denver and would like to continue to breathe, I am pretty sure that green and blue are NOT what I will be wearing!!

Hi Mavis, You have done it again! I made your home-made pizza crust for my family last night and it was a huge hit. I have never tried making pizza dough; the closest I have come were those awful “Pizza mix in a box” that I used to make in college. (Add water, get a sticky dough, dump in the can of sauce included in the box, and top with the little packet of cheese). They were pretty awful, but cheap, and gave the starving college kid a taste of pizza without blowing the budget. I decided to give your recipe a try and was shocked at how easily the dough rolled out. It was like silk! I rolled the edges around mozzarella sticks, used a can of organic pizza sauce, and topped with what I had on hand. I may never order take out pizza again! My daughter says it tasted like the crust from her favorite Denver Pizza shop(Bo-Jo’s). Thank you for sharing your recipes and encouraging the rest of us to try them.
